Happy Valentines day one and all, hope your day is filled with lovely stuff and romance. Here are some lovely things to celebrate, well a brooch and then some of my ever expanding collection of Valentines cards.
Look at this handsome couple, so in love they have splurged together.

I put this 1960s hallmark card along with a few others on my Tumblr last year, have a look in the archive if you want to see some more of my collection.

Have been busy working on some new products for the Banderole shop, so here is a little peek at whats to come. These cushions are made from vintage cotton velvets and will come with a handmade pad stuffed with fluffy recycled wool.
Here is the Jigsaw cushion it has a different colour on the front and the back, this one comes in racing green and pink, going to make a larger sized one too.

Here is the pink side of the Jigsaw cushion.
And finally this horse head cushion was inspired by the Trojan horse and  Knight chess pieces. Going to develop a slightly smaller one as this one is quite large, but still very nice. All will be in the shop soon and will be available as made to order.

Another post about plants, here are a few from my ever growing collection.

Here is a rubber bucket from 1950s that I love very much, bought in a wonderful antique and bookshop in Edinburgh called Duncan & Reid. Have plans to one day learn how to make something similar.

Here is a nice charity shop find, "The Prickly Plant Book", written by Sue Tarsky and plant illustrations by Grahame Corbett. I am pretty new to caring for houseplants but hope to expand my collection and get into propagating with the help of this book.
